What’s your position at MCF and what do you do?
As Philanthropy Officer, Mitch is a partner and resource for philanthropically-minded Montanans, financial advisors, and other nonprofits and community foundations, helping each achieve their goals to support our local Montana communities.
What he did:
Mitch served as a development officer at the Archie Bray Foundation for seven years. He also fulfilled a life dream working for a year as a craft baker.
What the fancy stuff on his wall is:
Mitch earned a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Montana, Missoula.

The Bob Marshall Wilderness
If he had to choose another profession:
Linguist
What’s something not very many people know about you?
When Mitch was 15 years old, he built his own wood-strip canoe (using redwood). He used the same hull design and forms his dad used when he built his boat (out of Sitka spruce) the year before Mitch was born.
