Colstrip Impacts Foundation Award Supports Small Business

The Colstrip Impacts Foundation recently made a grant to Cow Creek Bison Company to help expand production and strengthen the growing business.

Shad Huber’s business in the Colstrip community provides top-tier, sustainably raised bison meat directly to consumers. He also launched Cow Creek Bison Butcher Shop, serving hunters, ranchers, and families in the local community. With the funding, he plans to add transportation and butcher shop capacity.

Colstrip Impacts Foundation Grant Deadline Approaching

The Colstrip Impacts Foundation offers grants to support the local community, with funding available to eligible organizations and individuals in four areas: supplemental tax base, economic development, support for taxing districts, and direct assistance to impacted workers.
