Honoring a Life Filled with Light, Love, and Adventure
Kennady Lynn Trettin lived a life of love, adventure, and an unshakable spirit that touched everyone around her. Though her time was short, the joy, kindness, and light she shared will never fade.
Born on April 1, 2009, to Patrick and Robyn Trettin, Kennady completed their family alongside her brother, Teagan. From the start, she was full of spark and sass, with a radiant smile that could light up any room. A natural athlete, she thrived in gymnastics, swimming, soccer, skiing, cross country, volleyball, and wrestling—but her true passion was surfing behind the family boat, a skill she mastered with determination and grace.
Kennady’s love for animals was undeniable, especially for her cherished pets, Nacho and Cooper. She dreamed of volunteering at the Lewis and Clark County Humane Society and found joy in visiting the animals there. Her creativity and confidence shone in her passion for beauty and fashion, aspiring to be an aesthetician and always eager to practice new techniques—sometimes on her dad, much to everyone’s amusement.
Her zest for life was evident in everything she did—babysitting, crafting, decorating for holidays, shopping, and watching UFC fights with family. She was always chasing her next adventure, whether dreaming of Paris or planning to skydive with her mom on her 18th birthday. More than anything, Kennady had a way of making people feel special, bringing warmth and love into every space she entered.
