Montana Community Foundation Scholarship Fund
Supporting Montana Students
The high cost of education can often be a barrier to students pursing their education…and their dreams.
Scholarships are a good way to offset some of the cost of going to school. Each year the Montana Community Foundation awards nearly $500,000 in scholarships. The MCF Scholarship Fund provides additional scholarship support to Montana students.
During the spring scholarship season, we receive hundreds of requests for scholarships, but are unable to fulfill every request, leaving some students without the support they need to attend college or a technical school.
Last year, 632 qualified students applied for scholarship funding, yet MCF was only able to provide scholarships to 161 students.
The MCF Scholarship Fund was created to provide scholarship funding to Montana students by augmenting other existing scholarship funds at the Montana Community Foundation in the hope to support more Montana students in their educational endeavors.
