Mission

Residents founded the Elkhorn Community Foundation in 2012 to provide a permanent, grassroots funding source for community projects in Boulder and Northern Jefferson County.

History

The Elkhorn Community Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt community fund, affiliated with the Montana Community Foundation, and governed by local citizens to serve as a vehicle for charitable giving in Boulder and Northern Jefferson County Montana. The Elkhorn Community Foundation will be a permanent resource for the needs of the future. The Elkhorn Community Foundation is one of more than 40 affiliates of the Montana Community Foundation. There are more than 700 community foundations in the United States.
