As students across the state return to campus, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the exceptional recipients of scholarships held at the Montana Community Foundation. The 2024 scholarship season was another remarkable year, with over $1.3 million awarded to help students pursue their academic dreams.

This year, 768 students applied for 47 different scholarship funds managed by MCF. From this talented pool, 207 Montana students were selected to receive awards. Of these recipients, 96% earned single-year scholarships, while 4% benefited from multi-year scholarships that will continue to support their education over time. The average scholarship amount awarded was an impressive $6,000 per student, providing much-needed financial support for students in both four-year and two-year programs.

Meet Some of Our Outstanding Scholars:

• Rylee Baird
  Rylee is pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education at the University of Montana – Western, preparing to inspire the next generation of thinkers.
• Melody Irvine
  Melody is studying Social Work and Environmental Science and Sustainability at the University of Montana, focusing on creating positive social and environmental impacts.
• Kylee Gardipee
  Kylee is working toward her degree in Pharmacy at the University of Montana, ready to contribute to the health and well-being of her community.
• Josie Brown
  Josie is double-majoring in Studio Art and Psychology at Concordia College in Minnesota, blending creativity and understanding of the human mind.
• Aria Miller
  Aria is studying Nursing at Montana State University, dedicating herself to a career of care and compassion.
• Jaren Lingle
  Jaren is enrolled at MSU Northern, where he is studying Plumbing and Pipefitting, building essential skills for a hands-on career.
• Quindy Gronley
  Quindy is pursuing a dual degree in Pharmacy and a Master's in Business Administration at the University of Montana, preparing to lead in both healthcare and business.
