October 8 marks National Donor Advised Fund Day. Gift & Estate Planning Director Alley Fontenot shares how a donor-advised fund can support your giving goals at the Montana Community Foundation. 

At the Montana Community Foundation, our endowed DAFs are designed to support your giving for generations. Your gift is invested for long-term growth, with a portion available each year for grants you recommend. MCF manages the investments and administrative details, while you stay involved in choosing the causes your fund supports. You can also name family members as successor advisors to continue your charitable legacy.

For Montana donors, a qualifying planned gift benefiting an endowed DAF may also be eligible for the Montana Endowment Tax Credit, offering an additional tax benefit while building lasting support for your community.
