Montana Community Foundation Welcomes Three New Members to Board of Directors

The Montana Community Foundation (MCF), Montana’s statewide community foundation dedicated to helping communities flourish, is proud to announce the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors. These individuals represent communities and businesses across the state.
“I am thrilled to welcome our new board members into the MCF family,” said Mary Rutherford, MCF President & CEO. “Their diverse expertise, passion, and commitment to our mission will enrich our strategic direction and strengthen our impact within the communities we serve.”
The new members began their three-year terms on January 1, 2026. The new board members are:
- Leslie Messer (Sidney). Leslie is the Executive Director of Richland Economic Development Corporation.
- David Peretto (Helena). David is a financial analyst with Dick Anderson Construction.
- Courtney Brown Kibblewhite (Billings). Courtney is the Vice President and Co-Owner of Northern Broadcasting System.

“The new board members will bring a fresh perspective and expertise,” said Board Chair Tom McGree. “Their contributions will be invaluable as we continue serving Montana communities.”

- Chair: Tom McGree (Helena) Serving his second year as Chair
- Vice Chair: Dan McLean (Helena)
- Secretary: Kelly Cresswell (Helena)
- Treasurer: Sheila Rice (Great Falls)

- Sara Becker (Billings)
- Tracy Cosgrove (Helena)
- Dr. Shane Doyle (Bozeman)
- Dr. Jennifer Isern (Billings)
- Tod Kasten (Circle)
- Courtney Scott (Bozeman)
- Leonard Smith (Billings)
- Kenneth Smoker Jr. (Poplar)
- Maria Valandra (Great Falls)
- Alanna Weibert (Kalispell)
