Watch: Highlights from MCF’s 2025 Impact Report

April 27, 2026

Each year, the Montana Community Foundation (MCF) publishes our Impact Report. It's an opportunity to reflect on the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our partners working to help communities across the state thrive.

Our 2025 report is no exception. In this short video, MCF President and CEO Mary K. Rutherford shares highlights from the report and the stories behind them, illustrating how donors and partners are shaping Montana’s future.

The cover features the powerful image End the Silence by Jordan Lefner, a striking reflection on awareness, resilience, and community. Inside, the report pairs stories with data to demonstrate the real impact of philanthropy across Montana. In 2025, MCF distributed $5.6 million in grants to more than 800 charitable organizations statewide, while local community foundations contributed an additional $250,000 to support projects in their own communities.

The video also highlights impactful programs like the Indigenous Student Rapid Assistance Fund, which helps students overcome urgent financial barriers, and scholarships that supported more than 200 students pursuing their education.

Partnerships remain central to MCF’s work, including collaboration with the Otto Bremer Trust and the continued impact of the Women’s Foundation of Montana.
