Avista Community Scholarship

The Avista Community Scholarship program aims to support local residents, empowering them to reach their full potential as valued members of our community and to pursue their dreams without needing to relocate to do so. The intent of this scholarship is to help students further their education and, ideally, return to contribute to our communities following the completion of a degree or other post-secondary program.

Criteria

  • Application Access Code: 24ACSF
  • The applicant must be a high school senior or graduate from a high school in Sanders County, Montana, or Clark Fork, Idaho, OR residents of Sanders County, Montana, or Clark Fork, Idaho, who have obtained high school equivalency (HiSET or GED).
  • Applicant must be enrolled (or applying to be enrolled) as an undergraduate student at an accredited two or four-year college or university or an accredited vocational or technical institution in the United States.
  • Avista employees and their immediate family members are ineligible for this scholarship.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need and a strong work ethic through their responses to the essay question(s) in the application.
