Background

The D.A. Davidson Education Memorial Scholarship was created to benefit employees and their families.

Criteria

Required Criteria

The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:

• be an employee of D.A. Davidson or a child (biological, adopted, step children) of a D.A. Davidson employee. Employee must have been employed at D.A. Davidson for a minimum of one-year (at the time the first award check is issued), and parent must work at least 30-hrs a week.
• demonstrate a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, per their most recent transcript (high school or college).
• be at least a part-time student (minimum of 6 credits).
• demonstrate academic achievement.
• be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.

Applications will be evaluated based upon the applicant's ability to demonstrate and discuss academic achievement, financial need, long-term goals and objectives, and their participation in community activities through requested documents and essay question responses.

Previous recipients are NOT allowed to apply again.
