Background

The David Payne Scholarship was created to benefit graduates of Whitehall High School in Whitehall, MT.

Criteria

Required Criteria

The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior, or have previously graduated, from Whitehall High School in Whitehall, MT.
• demonstrate a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, per their most recent transcript (high school or college).
• be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.

Applications will be evaluated based upon the applicant's ability to demonstrate and discuss financial need, motivation, and attitude, as well as a recommendation from a teacher.

Recipients of this scholarship are welcome to reapply for up to 3 years following an initial award (total of four years awarded).
