Background
The Dearborn Ranch Montana Highway Patrol Scholarship was created to benefit the children of Montana Highway Patrol officers.
Criteria
Required Criteria
The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:
- be a biological or adopted child of an active uniformed officer who is employed by the Montana Highway Patrol.
- demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 2.75 through the first semester of their Senior year of high school.
- be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.
Continuing Criteria
Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive the awarded scholarship for 4 academic years. Current recipients of this scholarship looking to continue the scholarship for another year must:
- be enrolled full-time (12+ credits).
- submit their most recent transcript.
- demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- continue to meet the required criteria for this scholarship; and
- complete the MCF Continued Scholarship Form (sent via email in early Spring to each recipient).
Reapplication
Previous recipients are NOT allowed to apply again.
