IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you are applying for a financial need-based scholarship, you must complete the 2024-2025 FASFA Form before submitting your MCF Scholarship Application.
Following a 'soft launch' by the Department of Education on December 31st, the 2024-2025 FASFA Form is now open at www.fafsa.gov. The application may be periodically unavailable for maintenance, and a brief ‘waiting room’ at the login is possible.
Criteria
- Application Access Code: 24WEBR
- Applicant must be a senior graduate or former resident of Big Horn County or Carbon County, or senior graduating or graduate of Custer Public Schools
- Applicant must be one of the following:
- A high school senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above
- A full-time college student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- A non-traditional college student enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Selection is based on the following factors: financial need, participation in school, church and community activities, participation in 4-H as a current or former member or leader, and long-term goals.
- Preference to those who are pursuing a career in education, agriculture, agriculture-business, or agriculture-engineering
- Applicant must plan to be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institution (university, college, community college, college of technology, or technical school).
- Reapply for scholarship up to 3 years after 1st award
