If you are applying for a financial need-based scholarship, you must complete the 2024-2025 FASFA Form before submitting your MCF Scholarship Application.

Following a 'soft launch' by the Department of Education on December 31st, the 2024-2025 FASFA Form is now open at www.fafsa.gov. The application may be periodically unavailable for maintenance, and a brief ‘waiting room’ at the login is possible.

Criteria

  • Application Access Code: 24KMSF
  • Applicant pursuing undergraduate, graduate academic, or vocational degree
  • Non-Traditional adult student/re-entry students
  • Must be a permanent resident of Deer Lodge, MT (provide proof)
  • Applicant must be attending school full or part-time (min. of 6 credits)
  • Applicant attends either a traditional or online program at an accredited institution
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • No minimum GPA requirement for a first-time applicant
  • Re-Apply must have a Minimum GPA of 2.25
  • Accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities(NWCCU) or another of the 6 regional accreditation within the U.S.
