IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you are applying for a financial need-based scholarship, you must complete the 2024-2025 FASFA Form before submitting your MCF Scholarship Application.

Following a 'soft launch' by the Department of Education on December 31st, the 2024-2025 FASFA Form is now open at www.fafsa.gov. The application may be periodically unavailable for maintenance, and a brief ‘waiting room’ at the login is possible.

Criteria

• Application Access Code: 24MRSF
  
• Applicant must be a graduating senior from Hardin High School.
• Applicant must demonstrate a GPA of at least 3.0 during their junior and senior years of high school.
• Applicant must be a resident of Big Horn County, Montana.
• Applicant must provide a copy of their Acceptance Letter
• Applicants provide their entrance exam score
• Additional selection based on financial need, extracurricular activities, and academic achievement
• Applicant must plan to be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institution (university, college, community college, college of technology, or technical school).
• Scholarship is renewable and student must be full-time. (12+ credits)
• Renewal requirements:
  • Applicant must complete student information and acceptance form
  • Submit most recent transcript
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
