Background

The Mabel Redding Memorial Scholarship was created to benefit students who are graduating seniors at Hardin High School and residents of Big Horn County, Montana.

Criteria

Required Criteria

The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior from Hardin High School.
• be a resident of Big Horn County, Montana.
• demonstrate a GPA of at least 3.0 during their junior and senior years of high school.
• be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, in a degree or certificate program at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.

Selection for this scholarship is based on financial need, extracurricular activities, and academic achievement.

Continuing Criteria

Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive the awarded scholarship for 4 academic years. Current recipients of this scholarship looking to continue the scholarship for another year must:

• demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher;
• continue to meet all other required criteria for this scholarship; and
• complete the MCF Continued Scholarship Form (sent via email in early Spring to each recipient).

Reapplication

Previous recipients are NOT allowed to apply again.
