Background

This scholarship was set up by Philip Morris USA Inc. for the purpose of supporting Park County High School students.

Criteria

Required Criteria

The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior from Park County high school.
• demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.

Selection is based on financial need and response to essay questions. Applicant must provide 2 references and a letter of recommendation.

Continuing Criteria

Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive the awarded scholarship for 4 academic years. Current recipients of this scholarship looking to continue the scholarship for another year must:

• maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher; and
• complete the MCF Continued Scholarship Form (sent via email in early Spring to each recipient).

Reapplication

Previous recipients are NOT allowed to apply again.
