Background

The Uri Barnea Music Scholarship was created to benefit graduating seniors from high schools in Billings, MT, who have performed at a state music festival.

Criteria

Required Criteria

The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:

• be a graduating Senior from a high school in Billings, MT.
• demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• have performed at a State Music Festival and have received a "superior" rating.
• be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.

Preferred Criteria

Preference in consideration will be given to applicants who are:

• play the violin, viola, cello, or bass.

Reapplication

Previous recipients are NOT allowed to apply again.
