Director, Donor Services
When she joined MCF:
Where she’s from:
She was born in Calgary, Alberta, but I lived in California for 40 years (Orange County, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Riverside).
What she does:
She works closely with donors and fund representatives to help them achieve their philanthropic and financial goals.
What she did:
Before coming to Montana, she worked in the nonprofit sector for 20 years in California, including eight years as the director of grant programs for a community foundation in Southern California.
What the fancy stuff on her wall is:
She has a master’s degree in Public Administration and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management.
Favorite place in Montana:
The Echo Lake area near Bigfork, where she lives with my husband, Ned, and cats, Lilah and Chloe.
If she had to choose another profession:
Health Coach. She loves learning about health and fitness and encouraging others to live a healthy life.
Something most people don’t know about her:
She was a German major in college for a while (not a very practical major!). Her parents are German immigrants and most of my relatives are there. She spent a lot of time in Germany growing up, including a four-month stint at a German elementary school in first grade.
