Cathy Cooney
Director, Donor Services
Cathy joined Montana Community Foundation in 2005 after serving for eight years as the Director of Grant Programs at a community foundation in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in Southern California. After 10+ years of providing programs and technical assistance to MCF’s local community foundation affiliates, Cathy became MCF’s Director of Donor Services. Cathy works closely with donors and fund representatives to access and use the MCF services they need to help them achieve their philanthropic and financial goals. Cathy has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, a Masters in Public Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of California, Riverside Extension.
She lives in Bigfork with her husband Ned and cats Chloe and Lilah.
