Greg Hanson
(Philipsburg)
Greg is a retired attorney, having practiced since 1972 with the Missoula law firm Garlington, Lohn & Robinson. His practice was primarily in the estate planning, probate, taxation, real estate and business areas. Greg was designated by the Best Lawyers publication as the 2014 Trusts & Estates lawyer of the year and 2015 Tax lawyer of the year in Missoula. Greg graduated from the University of Montana in 1968, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with high honors. After successfully passing the test to become a Certified Public Accountant, he entered the University of Montana Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor degree with honors in 1971. Greg has served on numerous boards of nonprofit organizations over the years, and served for over twenty years as Counsel to the University of Montana Foundation. Greg also served as a member and then chairman of the Montana Facilities Finance Authority.
