About the Foundation
The Cut Bank Community Foundation supports the community of Cut Bank, including the area within 5 miles outside of city limits. The community foundation believes in the importance of community partnerships with individuals and organizations in building a better community.
Our mission is to create a healthy, vibrant community by responding to needs and opportunities in Cut Bank, Montana.
Founded in 2024, the community foundation is working to establish a permanent endowment to fund local needs. Our vision is to provide permanent financial support to create and sustain a healthy, vibrant community while fostering meaningful partnerships and encouraging financial contributions for the long-term success of Cut Bank.

Support Cut Bank Community Foundation
Year-End Fundraising Campaign
Cut Bank Community Foundation launched its year-end fundraising campaign to with a goal of raising $10,000 by December 31, 2025. If the goal is met, the community foundation will receive $5,500 in matching funds from the Montana Community Foundation, which will be awarded to support local projects in 2026.
How to Give
Cut Bank Community Foundation is growing a permanent endowment for the community. The principal of this endowment will remain intact forever, then 4.5% of the earnings will be used for grants to nonprofits and community-based projects in Cut Bank.

How to Receive
Cut Bank Community Foundation's first grant cycle was open September 1-28, 2025. Learn more about the $5,000 in grants to five organizations that were awarded.
Another grant cycle will be open in 2026 with further information posted at that time.

Community Projects in Action
With support from a $1,500 grant from the Cut Bank Community Foundation, the Glacier County Library is expanding its after-school STEAM programming to give more Cut Bank kids access to creative, hands-on learning. This was one of five projects funded by Cut Bank Community Foundation in 2025.
