Background
The Landon Hull Memorial Scholarship was created to support Montana students seeking a degree in psychology or counseling, or enrolled in the WWAMI Medical Education program studying medicine with the intent to practice psychiatry.
Criteria
Required Criteria
The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:
- be attending a public or private college or university in the State of Montana.
- be an undergraduate Junior or Senior, or a graduate student.
- be enrolled in a social science or medical program, such as psychology, counseling, a WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho) Medical Education program, or other programs that prepare students for careers in the field of mental healthcare.
Preferred Criteria
Preference in consideration will be given to applicants who:
- are Montana Residents.
- intend to practice clinical psychology, counseling, or another direct mental health profession within Montana upon graduation.
- demonstrate a personal connection to mental health struggles or other experiences that have deepened your understanding of the complexities of mental health and mental illness.
- have a strong desire to provide clinical/counseling services upon graduation.

Previous recipients are NOT allowed to apply again.

This scholarship typically provides the following each academic year.

Typically $2,000 to $4,500 per academic year.
