Background
The Walter & Elaine Anderson Scholarship was created to benefit Montana graduates from a number of counties seeking to study education or speech and language disorders.
Criteria
Required Criteria
The following are required criteria for this scholarship. Applicants must:
- have graduated, or be a graduating senior, from a high school in one of the following Montana counties: Big Horn, Carter, Custer, Daniels, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, McCone, Prairie, Powder River, Richland, Roosevelt, Rosebud, Sheridan, Treasure, Valley, or Wibaux.
- be pursuing a degree (undergraduate or graduate) in the fields of education or speech and language disorders.
- be enrolled, per the requirements of this scholarship, at an accredited postsecondary institution by the start of the first term of the awarded period.
Selection for this scholarship is based on academic achievement, financial need, participation in school, church and/or community activities, and long-term goals and objectives.
Reapplication
Recipients of this award may reapply annually, up to a total of 4 years awarded.
