If you are applying for a financial need-based scholarship, you must complete the 2024-2025 FASFA Form before submitting your MCF Scholarship Application.

Following a 'soft launch' by the Department of Education on December 31st, the 2024-2025 FASFA Form is now open at www.fafsa.gov. The application may be periodically unavailable for maintenance, and a brief ‘waiting room’ at the login is possible.

Criteria

  • Application Access Code: 24WEAS
  • Applicant must be a high school graduate or graduated from one of the following counties: Custer, Prairie, McCone, Dawson, Carter, Wibaux, Richland, Fallon, Powder River, Sheridan, Roosevelt, Daniels, Valley, Garfield, Rosebud, Treasure and Big Horn.
  • Applicant must be interested in pursuing a degree and career in education, strong preference to the study or treatment of speech and language disorders.
  • Selection is based on the following factors: academic achievement, financial need, participation in school, church and community activities, and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Applicant must plan to be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institution (university, college, community college, college of technology, or technical school).
  • Awarded recipients can reapply up to a total of 3 years of 1st Award.
