Program Director, Impact Programs
Peter joined the Montana Community Foundation in 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading teams across programs focused on education, workforce development, and community impact initiatives. He has directed large, multifaceted portfolios - including international education programs, statewide workforce training efforts, and multi‑country partnerships - while supporting staff across diverse locations and complex operational environments. As the Impact Programs Director, he leads the Foundation's strategic grantmaking, impact investing, and community‑focused initiatives while supporting department staff, managing grant portfolios, and ensuring that programs align with the organization’s mission, goals, and performance-assessment systems. Peter holds an Education Specialist degree in Higher Education Administration and Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from Western New Mexico University.
