Alley Fontenot
Gift & Estate Planning Director
Alley joined the Montana Community Foundation (MCF) as a Philanthropy Officer in 2023. She lives in Missoula and has over 10 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. After graduating from the University of Montana School of Law in 1996, Alley worked as an attorney at the Crowley Law Firm in Billings. After many years working as a sales representative and customer success manager, Alley entered the nonprofit field when she became the Development Director at Watson Children's Shelter. She then worked with a private foundation in Missoula for several years before accepting her current position with MCF. Alley enjoys working with donors, nonprofits, and communities across Western Montana, supporting MCF’s mission to cultivate a culture of giving so Montana communities can flourish. In her free time, you can find her whitewater kayaking or walking her dog, Lyla Garrity, in the mountains around Missoula.
