If you’re dreaming big, Montana Community Foundation has scholarships to help achieve your ambitions.

Whether you are pursuing a two or four-year degree, a certificate, or a graduate degree, you can apply today to start making your plans a reality. Community members from around Montana have stepped up to create these great opportunities — families, alumni, local businesses, and community leaders who believe in students like you.

Want to become an electrician? How about a welder? The Nep & Mary Ellen Lynch Trade School Scholarship can help you get there with awards of up to $5,000. So can the Reach for the Future Scholarship for Vocational Degree Programs, offering up to $2,500 per academic year.

Opportunities like the Jadie Butterfly Memorial Scholarship uplift graduating high school seniors from Browning while honoring Montanans like Jadie, a talented athlete and star student in Browning whose life was cut short in 2024. Her family honors her legacy with a $500 award for qualifying students.

Other scholarships focus on specific groups, like the Marcia Edsall Scholarship, which awards up to $10,000 per academic year to female college juniors and seniors who graduated from Bozeman, Gallatin, or Belgrade high schools.

For athletes, the Henry Braly All Athlete Scholarship offers $5,000 to a graduating high school senior playing any sport at Absarokee High School.

The scholarships you can find through MCF benefit a diverse range of students, so don’t count yourself out. MCF has all the tools you need to search and apply for the scholarships you’re qualified for. Take our scholarship eligibility quiz, search the scholarship directory, and apply online today. The deadline to submit applications is March 31 (unless otherwise indicated).
